I’m Cody Thurman, the proud owner and broker of Green Acre Land Group. For over six years, I’ve specialized in selling tillable farms, pastureland, recreational tracts, and rural homes throughout Missouri. My love for the outdoors—especially bow hunting big midwestern whitetails—drives my passion for land and fuels my commitment to helping clients achieve their real estate goals.

In addition to real estate, I serve as a firefighter and EMT with the City of Columbia, MO, where I’ve proudly served my community for the past 3.5 years with 9 years experience. My background in emergency services has sharpened my skills in communication, reliability, and staying calm under pressure—traits I bring to every negotiation and transaction.

I also served six years in the United States Air Force Reserve, including a deployment to Djibouti, Africa from January to August 2021. That experience strengthened my discipline and attention to detail, which continue to guide my work today.

My business is built on versatility and experience. I’m a licensed real estate broker in Missouri, a graduate of Missouri Auction School, and a certified personal property appraiser with the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. My name is Trevor Thurman, and I’m proud to be a licensed and certified Auctioneer with Green Acre Land Group. After graduating from the Missouri Auction School in June 2025, I officially joined the ranks of professional auctioneers—ready to serve clients with the same dedication and grit that defines our family business.

Though I’m newer to the auction industry, I’ve had the privilege of learning directly from my father, Matt, and my brother, Cody, gaining firsthand experience in real estate auctions, personal property sales, and farm equipment liquidations. In addition to joining Green Acre, I have spent nearly six years in the HVAC field, where I continue to build a strong work ethic and a commitment to getting the job done right.

My true passion has always been the outdoors. Whether it's chasing spring gobblers, big midwestern whitetails, or ducks and geese, the connection to the land has shaped who I am—and it's what drew me to the auction world. I'm excited to bring that same passion and drive to every auction we conduct.
